General Information:

We are largely a PVE server. Feel free to play by yourself or group with other players. We do allow PVP but only when agreed upon by participants or in PVP arenas, games, etc.

You’re free to build wherever while remaining respectful of other players and their builds. Feel free to grab a spot at spawn or explore somewhere new. Folks tend to mark bases with Dynmap signs (more on this below) to denote their areas. We do a lot of community builds, especially around farms.

Feel free to build a shop in the cave beneath the spawn house. Grab a spot and go to town. We’re basically building into the walls and enjoying life in the caves. Shops are free.

Useful Commands:

/info - Links you to this guide and some other immediately relevant information inside of Minecraft.

/help - Gives you a list of commands and their purpose.

/msg /tell /w /whisper - Lets you whisper/message/ a player.

/msgtoggle - Lets you disable receiving whispers.

/nick - Lets you set a nickname. Per-server.

/seen - Lets you check last seen information for a player.

Gamerules:

We have modified a handful of gamerules to make multiplayer more sensible. These include the following.

doFireTick = False - This disables the spread of fire.

Endermen griefing has been disabled. No more random blocks missing.

Sleeping with only one player.

We also disabled phantoms. Membranes can be found from bats.

Crafting Tweaks

We have added some crafting tweaks to the game which we feel make sense. These include the following.

Double Slabs - Single blocks give you two slabs.

Dropper to Dispenser - Droppers can be turned into dispensers using a bow or string and sticks.

Sandstone Dyeing - Allows you to craft sandstone with red dye to get red sandstone.

Universal Dyeing - Allows you to dye any dyeable blocks to another color. Doesn’t apply to wool or concrete.

Straight to Shapeless - Craft items such as paper, bread, and shulker boxes in the 2x2 crafting space in your inventory.

Unpackable Ice - Allows you to break ice down into 9 pieces. 1 Blue Ice into 9 Packed Ice - Into 81 Ice.

Unpackable Netherwart - Lets you break down Nether Wart Blocks into Nether Wart. This combined with other tweaks also allows you to combine Nether Wart into Nether Wart Blocks.

Unpackable Wool - Lets you turn Wool into String.

Datapacks & Plugins

We use a handful of datapacks and plugins for a useful multiplayer experience. Most relevant to players are the following.

CoreProtect - Allows the admins to check who broke, accessed, or otherwise performed activity.

Armor Statues - Posting armor stands. Video guide.

Armored Elytra - Lets you combine a chest piece and Elytra into a single item. Accomplished by dropping both items on top of an anvil. They can be separated using a grindstone the same way. Video guide.

Dragon Drops Elytra - Dragon when killed drops both an egg and an elytra.

Fast Leaf Decay - When trees are cut down leaves will decay quickly. Note: Any canopies touching other trees with logs still intact will not decay quickly.

More Mob Heads - More mobs drop more heads. Doesn’t apply to existing vanilla mobs with existing head drops.

Player Head Drops - Player drop heads when killed by other players. Reminder that PVP is when agreed upon, or in PVP arenas.

Dynmap - for the map on map.pep.gg, also you can create markers on Dynmap utilizing signs. Place any sign and follow the below format. The icon name should be changed to match one of the below icons. You can use one line of text or two.

1.18 Ore Distribution

Ore distribution changed significantly in 1.18, the below image provided by Mojang is useful for referencing correct levels for finding various ore types.
